Later this summer, the minds behind Fielding’s Wood Grill and Fielding’s Local will bring a brand new, chicken-obsessed eatery to The Woodlands.
A representative for Fielding’s tells Eater that the company is currently preparing to open Fielding’s Rooster at 4223 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands. The new restaurant, designed by Aria Group Architects, will occupy a 3,400 square foot space, complete with a wood-fired rotisserie, an iPad bar, and plenty of seating via booths, tables, and lounge chairs.
The space was built with energy efficiency in mind, and features a number of repurposed design elements like the salvaged, hand-made Mexican tiles that will decorate the bar area and reclaimed corrugated metal that will make up the walls of the restaurant’s open kitchen.
As far as the menu is concerned, Fielding’s will use its free-range, all-natural birds in an array of globally-inspired dishes, ranging from coq au vin to chicken tikka masala. Housemade gelato, pastries, pickles, and more will be on offer, along with a selection of seasonally-inspired cocktails, craft beer, and a list of wines.
Fielding’s Rooster is set to make its debut in July. In the meantime, scope out renderings of the space below.
