Tiny burger enthusiasts, rejoice — popular slider spot Burgerim is plotting its first location inside the loop.
A representative for Burgerim tells Eater that the Israeli chain will open a location at 12230 W. Lake Houston Pkwy next month. This is Burgerim’s second location in the Houston area — earlier this spring, an outpost opened at The Boardwalk at Town Lake in Cypress.
The spot focuses exclusively on sliders — available in packs of two, three, or sixteen — that can be customized with a bunch of different toppings and protein (salmon, Wagyu beef, lamb, and chorizo) options. For folks with dietary restrictions, gluten-free buns and veggie burgers are on offer, along with a couple different types of french fries.
Burgerim’s growth in Houston is part of a large expansion of the chain across the country. The Cypress location was the first in Texas, and locations will soon follow in Dallas-Fort Worth and Lubbock. In 2017, Burgerim anticipates that it will open as many as 200 restaurants in the United States.
Tentatively, the Houston outpost of Burgerim expects to open its doors on July 25.
