Thanks to the oppressive Houston heat, there’s really no such thing as too many ways to cool off with an icy, delicious treat. Which makes the arrival of California-based drink chain Zero Degrees all the more enticing.
A post to Zero Degrees’ Facebook page indicates that the chain will soon open its first Houston location at 10603 Bellaire Boulevard in Kim Son Plaza. The chain focuses on producing the most Instagram-worthy drinks, ranging from colorful boba teas to frozen mangonadas and watermelon slushies served in mason jars.
In addition to the drinks on offer, Zero Degrees also serves up a menu of wacky food creations at its location in Anaheim, CA, including a platter of elotes topped with crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. No word yet on whether or not the chain will bring food to Houston or just focus on drinks.
No official opening date has been set just yet, but Zero Degrees is set to debut in early August. Stay tuned for more updates.
