Bringing yet another addition to Houston’s ice cream scene, Stacked has officially kicked open its doors in Sugar Land.
The Katy-based ice cream shop is set to hold a grand opening for its new location at 1226 Museum Square Drive this weekend, after quietly serving up scoops earlier this week. The shop is known for its Instagram-worthy frozen creations, like scoops of Fruity Pebbles-crusted ice cream served in waffle cones and doughnut ice cream sandwiches.
In addition to the standard offerings, Stacked doesn’t shy away from viral food trends. In recent months, the shop has served up galaxy macarons, bright blue Cookie Monster ice cream, and cookies dyed an inky black with activated charcoal. It’s also become a spot for sports car enthusiasts to gather, thanks to its frequent “Cars & Cream” meet-ups.
Stacked will host its grand opening festivities, which will also serve as a meet-up for car enthusiasts, on Saturday, July 22 starting at 8 p.m.
