Continuing its expansion into Texas, California-based bakery SusieCakes is officially set to open its first Houston location.

The bakery known for its vividly colored cakes and frosting-filled cupcakes will set up shop in Rice Village, reports the Houston Chronicle. Since making its debut in California, owner Susan Sarich’s bakery has made an aggressive expansion into Texas in recent years, opening up 3 (soon to be four!) locations in Dallas-Fort Worth.

SusieCakes is the latest in a parade of new spots to open in Rice Village, which is becoming increasingly crowded with excellent restaurants, many of them imports. Both NYC’s Shake Shack and Austin’s Hopdoddy Burger Bar have plans to open in the neighborhood in the coming months.

No word yet on when SusieCakes will make its Houston debut, but Eater has reached out to a representative for the bakery for more details on the arrival of its cakes, cookies, bars, and other treats.
