Maybe even more outposts are in the works, too?

After opening Krisp Bird & Batter earlier this year, Chef Ben McPherson is already looking to expand his fast-casual fried chicken spot.

McPherson is set to soon open his second outpost of Krisp Bird & Batter at 2400 Shepherd Road in the Heights, reports CultureMap. The new location will boast both a larger space and larger menu, which will feature brunch and breakfast option in addition to the crispy, hormone-free chicken sandwiches that made the original Krisp Bird & Batter a hit.

It also sounds like McPherson has plans to further expand the restaurant, telling CultureMap that the Heights location would serve as a “model store” for potential future locations. No word yet on where those locations would be, or if the chef has plans to bring the concept to cities outside of Houston.

Krisp Bird & Batter will make its Height debut sometime next month. No official opening date has been announced just yet.
