Houston Restaurant Weeks Is Back Next Month, Without the Cheaper Dinner Option

Save the date: Houston Restaurant Weeks is almost here. This year’s fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank runs August 1st through September 4th.

There’s another date to remember, too. Saturday, July 15th is “Reservation Day,” when diners can log on to the Houston Restaurant Weeks website and access menus from the over 200 participating restaurants.

For everyone who was a fan of last year’s cheaper pricing format, bad news. The $25 dinner option is nowhere to be seen on this year’s menu. Here’s the pricing info: dinner is either $35 or $45, lunch is $20 and brunch is $22. Brunch pricing was $20 in 2016, so that’s just a tiny bit more cash.

Last year’s fund-raising effort broke records, raising over $2 million for the Houston Food Bank from a whopping 274 participating restaurants, sponsors and friends of HRW.
