As it prepares to make a move to Heights Mercantile, Melange Creperie is closing up shop at Conservatory.

The crepe stand announced that Saturday, September 30 will be its last day at the Downtown food hall in a Facebook post on Friday. As the Houston Business Journal reported earlier this week, the stand is expected to reopen in its first-ever standalone space in the Heights Mercantile development sometime in the next 20 days.

The new Melange Creperie will occupy a “modern bungalow” at 714 Yale Street, where the same menu of sweet and savory crepes will be on offer. In the development, Melange Creperie will join a number of retail outlets and the newest outpost of Cloud 10 Creamery, which arrived in the Heights last week.

No official opening date for Melange Creperie’s location at Heights Mercantile has been set just yet, but diners have until tomorrow to score one last thin pancake before the big move.
