A French-Themed Nightclub Will Move Into the Former Zimm’s Space

Is this the next Montrose hotspot?

A French-themed, music-focused bar and lounge called Victor will open this spring in the former Zimm’s space at 4321 Montrose. It sounds very chic, according to PaperCity’s interviews with the four businessmen from the south of France behind the project. Picture a DJ booth constructed out of Louis Vuitton luggage, Baroque-inspired furnishings, and a redone terrace.

The original Zimm’s bar top is staying, however. “We’re going to preserve that look,” project manager Joshua Weisman of Construction Concepts told PaperCity. “We’ll marry this sexy, French, baroque look with the old world wood that’s already there,” Weisman says.

This place is aiming to be the new going-out spot: DJs will spin six nights a week at Victor, which will serve classic and creative cocktails along with light bites and snacks as well. See the renderings for the space over at PaperCity.
