Gatlin’s BBQ Is Now Enshrined In ‘Real Housewives’ History

Brisket-topped fries, smoked corn, and a whole lot of drama were served

Last night, Bravo TV aired a particularly over-the-top Real Housewives of Atlanta fight that took place at a Houston restaurant.

Beloved Houston barbecue joint Gatlin’s was the setting for the showdown that involved Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore and Shamea Morton, among other RHOA stars. The reality TV stars were in Houston in the weeks following Hurricane Harvey, hosting charity events and bringing food, feminine hygiene products, and other donated goods to Houstonians in the aftermath of the storm.

In addition to the drama, the Housewives were served brisket-topped fries, smoked corn, baked beans, and other barbecue staples. When Moore shows up at the restaurant, the kitchen is closed, which means that she isn’t able to order any of Gatlin’s smoked chicken. Perhaps Moore was hangry, because the fight between Moore and Morton pops off quickly, eventually resulting in Moore storming off the set, flipping off producers, and calling her castmates “stupid as shit” in the restaurant’s bathroom.

Gatlin’s has not addressed its newfound reality TV fame. Check out the restaurant’s Real Housewives cameo in a clip from last night’s episode below.
