— Next month, casting agents from Bravo’s Top Chef will make their way to Houston in order to find some quality talent. The show will set up shop at Chef Monica Pope’s (who appeared on season two of Top Chef Masters) Sparrow Cook Shop on Wednesday, February 7 to host meet and greets with local chefs. — Montrose favorite Common Bond Bakery is expanding to a second location. According to CultureMap, the bakery owned by Carrabba’s will open at the forthcoming Heights Waterworks development, replacing Ascension Coffee from Dallas and joining a permanent outpost of vegan food truck Ripe Cuisine. — It looks like The Ginger Man has plans for a Houston expansion. Swamplot reports that the popular bar chain, which operates its first Houston location in Rice Village, is set to arrive at 160 West Gray in Midtown.
