— Flower Child, the healthy eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts (North Italia, True Food Kitchen) has chosen Uptown Park as the location for its first Houston location. According to Swamplot, the restaurant will set up shop in the fomer BB1 Classic boutique space. Construction on the space is set to begin soon. [Swamplot]

— Bravery Chef Hall, the new food hall from Conservatory founders Anhi Mai and Lian Nguyen, has announced a few details on its first concepts. More information is forthcoming, but diners can look forward to Southeast Asian fare from former Underbelly chef de cuisine Gary Ly, a pasta restaurant from Ben McPherson (formerly of Krisp Bird & Batter, Prohibition, and Batanga), and a “showcase” from Andes Cafe owner David Guerrero called Nuna, which will focus on “coast Latin and Market seafoods.” [EaterWire]

— Indie Chefs Week, an “anti-food and wine festival” from Foreign & Domestic founder Ned Elliott and former Pass & Provisions GM Grover Smith will bring chefs from Houston and beyond together for three collaborative dinners.
