It looks like Snooze is damned and determined to take over Texas with its boozy breakfasts and pancake flights, as the Denver-based brunch chain is opening yet another Houston-area outpost.
The newest location will debut in Clear Lake next month at 820 West Bay Area Boulevard. The new 3,700 square-foot space near Baybrook Mall is located just east of I-45 in a new development. Aside from the sunny, retro-themed dining room, there will also be a large patio for enjoying the outdoors with a side of eggs.
Snooze’s obscenely decadent pancakes are best consumed in a flight of three. Options include the pineapple upside down pancake and the seasonal “Smashin’ Pumpkin” pancake with cream cheese filling alongside delicious berry-infused varieties. Just don’t sleep on the veggie-stuffed frittata or the large assortment of twists on an eggs benedict. Snooze boasts responsibly sourced ingredients in its dishes and a commitment to sustainability by minimizing waste, composting, and recycling. Drinks are as big of a draw as the food with an assortment of local craft beer, a house sparkling wine, and riffs on traditional mimosas.
Snooze is opening locations across major Texas cities at a rapid clip, including three in North Texas and four locations in Katy, Montrose, the Heights, and Town & Country with another slated for the Galleria area.
Snooze’s newest location officially opens on November 14 and will operate daily 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
