Bisou, a glamorous new River Oaks spot from the team behind clubs Clé and Spire, is just about ready to open its doors in the former Taverna space.
As reported earlier, Lyon-born chef Frédéric Perrier is in charge of the kitchen (his resume includes Houston restaurants like Grille 5115, Café Perrier, and AURA Brasserie in Sugar Land). The menu will have a global bent, too, with dishes like tomahawk ribeye a la fiorentina, a rack of lamb with goat cheese and lamb neck shepherd’s pie, and hamachi sashimi with pan seared foie gras, apple butter and lillet.
The look for the 5,500-square-foot space is going to be posh, with custom black glass columns and brass accents, not to mention an al fresco patio with views of the River Oaks District.
“The elegance of the River Oaks District provided the perfect backdrop for us to create a deliciously glamourous backdrop for elevated dining and cocktails that interjects a heavy dose of fun,” Clé Group partner Andrew Estes said in a release.
Bisou will open this Monday, October 22 at 4444 Westheimer Road for lunch and dinner. Operating hours will be Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
