As Eater reported in March, Austin-based Hat Creek Burger Company has plans to open four Houston-area outposts, and now Eater has learned where at least one of them will be located.

The burger chain will open at 8215 Louetta Road just west of the Panera Bread in Klein, according to meeting minutes from the Kleinwood Municipal District. Other locations listed on the company’s website are for Fulshear, Katy, and Houston, although the specific addresses aren’t available just yet. According to Houston Business Journal, the specifics could include Missouri City and the Cinco Ranch area of Katy, and the company could expand to Pearland and The Woodlands in the future.

Hat Creek currently operates 14 outposts across Texas where it serves an abbreviated menu of four burger options, several chicken sandwiches, and salads, plus sides like sweet potato fries, tater tots, and fried pickles. The chain also offers beer and wine and a delicious assortment of milkshakes like “Dirt Worm” with oreos and gummy worms and a milkshake infused with Austin’s Cuvée coffee. The company is embarking on a large state-wide expansion with plans open an additional 10 restaurants across Texas in 2018 and 2019.

The first Houston location is projected to open next spring. Eater has reached out to Hat Creek for more information, stay tuned for that info.
