Gyu-Kaku, a popular Japanese barbecue chain where diners grill their own meats at the table, will open a fourth Houston-area location.

Permit applications filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate that Gyu-Kaku’s fourth local outpost will open at 7748 Cypress Creek Parkway in the coming months. The chain first made its debut in Houston in 2014 with a location in Midtown, and has since expanded to additional restaurants in the Memorial area and Sugar Land.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, Gyu-Kaku’s yakinuku-style dining means that patrons grill marinated short ribs, filet mignon, shrimp, and more right at the table. Meaty all-you-can-eat and prix fixe menus are on offer, along with dishes like tempura, ramen, garlic noodles, and of course, the famous DIY s’mores. Buckets of beer, cocktails, and sake samplers are also available to help wash down all those freshly-grilled slabs of beef.

No word yet on when Gyu-Kaku will open its newest outpost. Stay tuned for more details.
