Continuing the parade of locally-focused restaurants in Houston, the Annex Crafthouse will soon bring Southern comfort fare and Texas booze to Vintage Park.

A representative for the restaurant tells Eater that it will open its doors at 122A Vintage Park Boulevard, inside the Village Park Shopping Center, early next year. No official menu details have been announced just yet, but expect to find a menu that splits the difference between comforting fare and healthy, vegetarian eats.

“We wanted to make a menu that brings people of all dietary backgrounds together while supporting local farms and breweries,” says brand development director Denise Trognitz. “Our menu will be about half plant-based, and the other half traditional Southern comfort food.” The bar will be of equal importance at the Annex, with a major focus on both craft beer and spirits produced in Texas.

The Annex Crafthouse is set to open its doors in February 2019. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
