It’s the final day of voting in the 2018 Eater Awards, an annual celebration of the city’s finest culinary talent and best restaurants. Eater readers have already cast ballots in four categories — Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Design of the Year, and Bar of the Year — and now it’s time to weigh in on the city’s best pastry chef.

Here’s how it works: All 24 Eater cities and our national site Eater.com will award prizes in a variety of categories. In each category, Eater staff will choose an editor’s choice winner, and readers will vote for a reader’s choice winner. Editor’s choice winners will receive one of Eater’s iconic tomato can trophies, and reader’s choice winners will score a lifetime of bragging rights.

This year, four Houston pastry chefs are up for the 2018 Eater Award: Dory Fung of Poitin, Underbelly Hospitality’s Victoria Dearmond, Fluff Bake Bar owner Rebecca Masson, and Nancy’s Hustle pastry-sous chef Julia Doran.

Now, it’s time to vote. Cast your ballot below, and note that the polls will be open for 24 hours. Voting will be strictly monitored to prevent any voting irregularities.
