Krab Queenz, a Louisiana export for daiquiris and seafood drenched in butter, will debut in Houston this month.

The restaurant will debut in mid-November for its first Houston-area location at 10852 Westheimer Road, in the space last occupied by Bosnian restaurant Cafe Pita. The seafood-focused spot already operates two locations in Baton Rouge, where it serves up a concise menu of crab and shrimp either by the plate or the pound that have been doused in its “famous” flavor-infused butters.

At Krab Queenz, options include garlic, honey garlic, and spicy-spiked butter, with heat levels ranging from mild to “inferno.” Sides like potatoes, corn, and sausage are on offer, plus jars of cake for dessert, and punch or daiquiris to sip on. Those daiquiris will also be available to-go in gallon sized jugs.

When Krab Queenz debuts this month it will be yet another Louisiana eatery to enter the Houston market alongside Neyow’s Creole Cafe, one of Eater NOLA’s Essential 38 eateries. Krab Queenz’s grand opening is November 18. Stay tuned for hours of operation.
