After more than a year in the works, beloved smoked meat pop-up Blood Bros. BBQ is officially ready to debut its new permanent location on Bellaire Boulevard.
Co-owner Terry Wong tells Eater that the destination for brisket, sausage, and more will open its doors at 5425 Bellaire Boulevard on Thursday, December 20. Ever since beginning as a pop-up from Wong and his brother Robin, the owners of Glitter Karaoke, and pitmaster Quy Hoang, Blood Bros. BBQ has earned a cult following thanks to its both traditional and innovative takes on classic proteins like sausage and brisket.
A peek through Instagram shows off some of the dishes that Blood Bros. BBQ has been testing for the new restaurant, including smoked brisket from Texas’s own 44 Farms, pastrami tri-tip, boudin, and beef belly burnt ends slathered in gochujang. Sides like roasted creamed corn, baked beans, mac and cheese, and cole slaw will also be on offer. Blood Bros. is also known for its creative dishes like sausage stuffed with mac and cheese, so be on the look out for special offerings frequently.
Blood Bros. BBQ will open on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the meat’s gone.
