Snooze’s Takeover of Houston’s Brunch Scene Continues

It looks like the Denver-based chain is opening yet another location near the Galleria

Snooze might be a Houston newcomer, but the chain’s rapid expansion in Space City continues with a new outpost slated for a familiar location.

A leasing document for the Centre at Post Oak shopping center indicates that Snooze will take over the space at 5000 Westheimer Road vacated by Arcodoro, the longstanding Italian eatery that suddenly closed its doors earlier this month. The chain has yet to confirm this additional outpost, but Eater has reached out for more details on Snooze’s ongoing takeover of the city’s brunch scene.

This newest restaurant would bring Snooze’s total count of outposts dedicated to slinging pancakes and brunch cocktails to five, joining the recently-opened location in the Heights and other outposts in Montrose, Town & Country, and Katy. This same brunch takeover is happening in Dallas, where Snooze currently has at least three locations in the works.

No word yet on Snooze’s newest outpost is set to land, but fortunately Houstonians have four other local options for pancake flights paired with Bloody Marys.
