Finn Hall has announced that Amaya Coffee will join the exciting new addition to Downtown when it arrives later this year.
The coffee purveyor’s new Downtown locale will serve the same menu found at Catalina and beans roasted by Amaya Roasting Company, which are sourced in a handful of countries including Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Ethiopia. In addition to freshly roasted coffees, Amaya will be serving lattes, seasonal coffees, pastries, and house-made syrups. Diners can also look forward to a new menu item: affogato, an Italian dessert of ice cream doused in a shot of espresso; this one features Fat Cat Creamery’s Amaya ice cream topped with espresso.
The new spinoff from Amaya Roasting Company and Catalina Coffee will be joining other H-Town stalwarts and a few exciting newcomers in the food hall. When it arrives, Finn Hall will also be home to outposts of Goode Co. Taqueria, Low Tide, Mr. Nice Pie, Dish Society, and Mala Sichuan Bistro.
“We’re excited to be the coffee offering within Finn Hall and we’re excited to work alongside some of the city’s most notable concepts and restaurant groups,” owner Max Gonzalez said in a statement. “Our goal with Amaya Coffee is to serve high quality coffee and highlight the years of behind the scenes work we have been doing with our roasting company, thus helping people understand where their coffee comes from.”
