It’s Opening Day for the Houston Astros and FM Kitchen and Bar is celebrating the arrival of baseball season with a new mural featuring Jose Altuve.

Starting this afternoon, Alex “Donkeeboy” Roman will begin work on the mural, which will depict Altuve as The Little Engine That Could. Altuve’s face will be painted on the front of the train, the body of the train will be modeled after the replica at Minute Maid Park. ”I wanted to do an Astros mural that was a little bit different,” Roman said in a statement. “Altuve has the nickname ‘Gigante’ because he’s so small, I thought of ‘The Little Engine That Could.’ I thought it was perfect to represent him and the type of mentality that he has.”

For the sold-out home opener against the Baltimore Orioles, FM Kitchen located at 1112 Shepherd Dr is starting its regular happy hour specials early, including $5 select wines and cocktails on tap, $5 wells, and $1 off all beer and specialty cocktails. Since it also happens to be a Monday, diners can take advantage of the eatery’s weekly 50-cent wing night. Plus, during Astros games all season long, baseball watchers can get a hot dog and 8th Wonder Dome Faux’m beer for just $5.

FM obviously wants to make its eatery as Astros-centric as possible, so game watchers will also find seven flatscreen TVs on the patio, including four clocking in at 70-inches. Six more TVs can be found inside, including a 100-inch projector screen.
