Peña’s Donuts Is Super Inspired by Houston Rockets Star James Harden

This is one way to cheer on the home team. One of Eater Houston’s favorite donut spots Peña’s Donuts & Diner got really inspired by the Houston Rockets’ appearance in the playoffs and decided to make a spectacular pastry creation.

Just check out this donut inspired by “unguardable” Houston Rockets star James Harden. “Fear the Donut!!” is how the diner captioned their side-by-side Instagram, along with hashtags like “#fearthebeard” and “#donut.” There’s even a shout-out on the donut to Harden’s jersey number 13.

Rockets fans can actually order these donut masterpieces for game watching. Peña’s wrote on Facebook that those interested can “call the store during business hours please.”

Not everyone was pro-donut, however. Someone joked on Facebook: “How they gona [sic] do Harden like that?” Another fan had one suggestion for improving the Peña’s Donuts & Diner Houston Rockets donuts: “Eyebrows please!!”
