Truck Yard, a Dallas export known for its sprawling outdoor space, food trucks, and cheesesteaks, has officially opened its doors in Houston.

The restaurant will kick open the doors to its Houston location in the East Village development, joining fellow DFW export and burger joint Rodeo Goat. It’s also the planned location for Agricole Hospitality’s (the minds behind Coltivare, Eight Row Flint, Revival Market, and Night Heron) forthcoming pizzeria Vinny’s, bar Miss Carousel and Indianola, a 300-seat restaurant inspired by partner Morgan Weber’s hometown in Texas.

At Truck Yard, the formula is simple — there’s plenty of outdoor space and picnic tables on which to drink beer and frozen cocktails, eat cheesesteaks, and chill. As its website touts, the Houston outpost is located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of both BBVA Compass Stadium and Minute Maid Park, making it an ideal pre-game (or post-game!) destination. With spring in full force, expect for this patio to be constantly packed, especially when the Rockets and Astros are in town.

Drinkers can now linger all day long at Truck Yard, open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
