After months in the works, Dallas-based chain East Hampton Sandwich Company is just about ready to officially make its Houston debut.

The growing sandwich shop’s first Houston outpost is set to open its doors at 4444 Westheimer Road next week. Announced last August, East Hampton Sandwich Company currently operates eight locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, and more are on the way — last year, the chain received a significant growth investment from private equity firm CIC Partners to fund its expansion.

As far as the food is concerned, diners can look forward to a menu of fancy sandwiches like the iconic lobster grilled cheese, lobster rolls, and a crab-avocado club. Soups, salads, and freshly-fried doughnuts are also on offer, along with breakfast tacos, frozen cocktails, and more. Pretty much everything is made in the restaurant, including the crispy potato chips that accompany most sandwiches.

East Hampton Sandwich Company is set to make its debut on Thursday, May 31. On opening day, the shop will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with regular business hours to follow in the coming days.
