The food options at the new Houston Whole Foods Market 365 are going to be so good, shoppers might just not bother filling up their carts. Today Whole Foods announced that the South African-inspired Peli Peli Kitchen and Austin-based Juice Society will be the two “Friends of 365” partners that will set up shop inside the upcoming grocery store (which is Whole Foods’ lower cost spinoff).
Peli Peli Kitchen just won Eater Houston’s reader’s choice for “Fast-Casual Restaurant of the Year” last year. Hopefully, naan tacos and more will be for sale at Peli Peli Kitchen’s outpost at the 30,000-square-foot store at 101 North Loop West in Independence Heights, which is set to open this summer. Meanwhile, Juice Society will set up a coffee and juice bar in the store. This is the tenth location of Whole Foods Market 365 nationwide, and the second location of Whole Foods Market 365 in Texas.
