Pokéworks locations keep popping up all over Houston. The New York City-based poke chain just opened up its second outpost this spring, unveiling a new shop in Montrose. Now, folks in Katy will soon have a Pokéworks of their own for all their raw fish bowls and burritos cravings.
The third Katy Pokéworks location is slated to open during the third week of June at 21788 Katy Freeway, Suite #700, according to a press release. The restaurant’s design will be vaguely nautical, with natural wood and muted accent colors.
Besides a build-your-own-poke option and a nacho-style poke served with wonton chips, Katy diners can try dishes dreamed up by Pokéworks collaborator and Top Chef alum Sheldon Simeon. His newest poke creation is the Original Garlic “OG” bowl with old school Hawaiian style Ahi tuna poke, watercress, and a savory garlic sauce.
