Montrose is already a solid place to start the day, and a new Turkish eatery called Cafe Bosphorus has plans to bring an even bigger spread of breakfast options to the neighborhood.
Signage is up at Cafe Bosphorus’ location at 1723 Westheimer Road, right near the intersection of Westheimer and Dunlavy. With Greek coffeehouse Agora and Common Bond Cafe & Bakery right across the street, this new addition effectively creates a breakfast trifecta in the neighborhood. Who wouldn’t want to spend a Saturday dining on a Turkish breakfast, lounging with coffee at Agora, then pick up a few pastries for the road at Common Bond?
As far as the food is concerned, Cafe Bosphorus has not yet announced its menu, but diners can look forward to a colorful spread of Turkish dishes, including kebab, kofte, shakshouka, and more. Of course, the famously-strong elixir that is Turkish coffee will also be on offer, along with plenty of vegetable-based dishes and sides.
Cafe Bosphorus is currently planning to open its doors in August. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
