New Mexican restaurant Calle Onze is about to make its debut this weekend at 222 W. 11th Street in the Heights.
“We are going to open this Saturday for our first full service, we should be open from then on with dinner only, and lunch the week after,” a rep from Calle Onze told Eater. The restaurant’s menu is online, featuring both traditional dishes from chef Oliver Loeza like fajitas, tamales, and tacos al pastor, and adventurous plates like nopal and chorizo ravioli or pork belly, smoked queso, and compressed watermelon. The drinks list from Greg Perez is extensive, with all sorts of margarita options from honeydew to tamarind, along with 400 agave spirits.
