EggHaus Gourmet Unveils Its Egg Stuffed Sandwiches Next Week

It’ll also have King’s BierHaus’ knockout kolaches on deck

EggHaus Gourmet, the new breakfast destination from the father-and-son duo behind King’s Biergarten and King’s BierHaus, will officially kick open its doors next Friday.

Hans and Philipp Sitter’s new concept is located at 2042 East TC Jester next to King’s BierHaus. The Sitters decided to open a permanent breakfast location after hosting uber-popular kolache-fueled pop-ups at King’s Biergarten in Pearland and BierHaus in the Heights (with regulars reportedly lined up around the buildings as early as six in the morning). Austin-based designer Kim Lewis, best known for her work on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, designed the sunny interiors with graphic floral wallpaper and pops of bright yellow.

EggHaus will serve the Sitters’ knockout kolaches, of course, including riffs on a reuben and drunken chicken simmered in Stiegl lager bier and smothered in buffalo sauce; plus sweet kolaches featuring peaches, apricots, cream cheese, and their version of a pb&j. Egg sandwiches and breakfast tacos made with cage-free eggs, GMO-free tortillas, and preservative-free sausages and buns will also be on offer, along with responsibly sourced coffee.

“The response has been overwhelming,” Philipp Sitter said in a statement “We’re very excited to show the community what we have been working on for quite some time.”

EggHaus Gourmet will open on Friday, September 21 and will operate Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
