A popular ramen shop from Queens, NY will relocate to Houston sometime in the coming months.
A tipster tells Eater that Ramen Okidoki will set up shop at 10603 Bellaire Boulevard, Suite 107-B, replacing a location of Lims Chicken USA in Asiatown’s Saigon Houston Plaza. The eatery’s social media accounts confirmed its move to Houston, and a recent Facebook post stated its final day of service in NY was November 30, when the space would be turned over to a Korean restaurant.
Photos posted to Okidoki’s Instagram account show its new location in the full throes of construction. According to recent Insta posts, the new space is reportedly more spacious than its NYC counterpart, not surprisingly, and features a full bar.
The shop’s Astoria Queens location earned the eatery a consistent four-star rating or higher on platforms like Yelp and Google Reviews for its bowls of ramen alongside pork belly bao, fried takoyaki, and rice bowls. Eater has reached out to Ramen Okidoki for more information on its impending arrival. Stay tuned for that info.
