Chickenjoy fans, rejoice: a second outpost of beloved Filipino fried chicken chain Jollibee is en route to Houston.

Documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate that Jollibee will take over the former Pollo Tropical space at 13347 Westheimer Road in the coming months. The new outpost will join the first local location of Jollibee, which has been open at 8001 South Main Street since 2013. The chain could be making a renewed push into Texas — earlier this month, Eater Dallas reported that Jollibee would open its first DFW location, and plans are also in the works for a San Antonio outpost.

For those who are unfamiliar with Jollibee’s crunchy fried chicken, the chain is known for its Chickenjoy, a signature dish that pairs fried chicken with gravy and rice. Filipino dishes like palabok fiesta are also on offer, along with the chain’s signature spaghetti, burgers, and deep-fried peach-mango pies.

Construction on Jollibee’s forthcoming location on Westheimer is expected to be completed in April 2020. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
