After closing its doors last year, Uptown Sushi is ready to reopen the doors and show off its brand new look.

A post to the restaurant’s Facebook page indicates that its owners are currently waiting for final inspections from the city. Originally, the plan was to open earlier in February, but that date has since been pushed back to February 18 after a planned inspection was delayed. As Eater reported back in September, the restaurant closed in order to complete an extensive renovation, complete with new signs and fancy new wallpaper.

When it returns, diners can expect a menu that’s pretty similar to what was previously on offer, including stunning sashimi platters, sushi towers, rolls, nigiri, and more. “We didn’t change our menu much,” a representative for the restaurant tells Eater. “The main purpose of our remodel was to reconstruct the space.”

It’s possible that Uptown Sushi’s opening could be pushed back again, but for now, the plan is February 18. Stay tuned for any new updates.
