Downtown’s upcoming Bravery Chef Hall crowned a victor in its Shark Tank-style competition, which offered bartenders the chance to (temporarily) take over one of the bars at this upcoming food hall. Houston CultureMap reports that veteran bartender David Cedeno will be first up in Bravery Chef Hall’s bar incubator program.
He’ll open up a cocktail and drink spot called Lockwood Station, which will be in existence at the food hall for a one year stint and then a new owner will move in and he’ll look for a permanent home elsewhere. Cedono’s Lockwood Station will be mid-century-inspired, with a menu featuring classics like daiquiris along with draft cocktails and drinks inspired by the restaurants at Bravery.
