Common Bond, the beloved Houston bakery known for perfect croissants and other pastries, has officially debuted its second location in the Medical Center.

A post to the bakery’s Instagram account announces its arrival at 2278 West Holcombe Boulevard, joining the original Montrose outpost opened by Roy Shvartzapel in 2014. Shvartzapel has since parted ways with Common Bond, but the pastry destination has earned a devoted loyal following that keeps its dining room (and parking lot!) packed pretty much constantly.

The Medical Center outpost is part of major expansion plans for Common Bond, according to CultureMap. The growing chain is expected to open four additional locations in the coming months, including an outpost that is set to open this spring at Heights Waterworks, the bustling development that’s already home to a newly-opened Hopdoddy Burger Bar and forthcoming vegan restaurant Verdine, among other eateries in the works.

Common Bond is now open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends.
