Bernie’s Burger Bus, one of Houston’s favorite destinations for towering, beefy burgers, has arrived in Missouri City.

The restaurant’s fourth location officially debuted this week at 6324 Highway 6, taking over the former El Pollo Loco space at Sierra Plantation, according to a press release. Unlike the other three outposts of Bernie’s, this new location boasts its own drive-thru, making it even more convenient to score one of those beloved double cheeseburgers. The menu of burgers, fries, and soft serve ice cream will be the same in Missouri City as at other Bernie’s outposts, along with a full bar that will serve cocktails and booze-spiked milkshakes. On the first Friday of every month, “Lobster Friday” will bring lobster rolls and lobster-topped poutine to the menu.

In keeping with the restaurant’s history of being housed in a school bus turned food truck, diners will order indoors from an old school bus that has been fashioned into its counter and soda service station. Indoors, the space offers seating for 50 diners, with room for another 35 on the patio. Outdoors, one of those tables has been designated the “Cool Kids Table,” which means that people sitting there could win a “BBB Black Card,” which endows upon its holder the right to a free burger and fries every single day for life.

Bernie’s Burger Bus is now open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the doors stay open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
