Diners in the Woodlands have a new source for avocado chia seed wraps, veggie-packed bowls, and kale salads. The colorful, hippie-ish Flower Child, a chain owned by the same company as North Italia, opens today, March 6, at 1900 Lake Woodlands Drive, Suite 100.
The opening celebration’s festivities will include a giveaway of $25 gift cards to the first 100 guests, along with flower bouquets from local florist The Party Architects. Flower Child will also donate a portion of proceeds from opening day sales to Texas Children’s Hospital.
The Woodlands Flower Child outpost joins another newish healthy chain, True Food Kitchen, which opened last year in the neighborhood. This Flower Child location boasts pet-friendly outdoor seating, a separate to-go line, and eclectic decor with peace signs and bright murals.
Flower Child’s Woodlands location is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
