A new French bakery from a familiar face lands in Spring Branch

Magnol French Baking, a new bakery helmed by noted Houston pastry chef Otto Sanchez, has made its debut in Spring Branch. The new bread destination at 1500 North Post Oak Road arrived this week, and is now serving boules, baguettes, and more, all made with organic ingredients. In addition to the retail side of the shop, Magnol will also provide breads to Houston restaurants.

Fajita Pete’s hits Spring next month

Houston-based Tex-Mex chain Fajita Pete’s will open its doors in Spring at 4127 Riley Fuzzel Road on June 22. The new location is currently hiring staff for its brand new outpost, which joins 11 Fajita Pete’s locations across Texas. Additional locations are currently in the works.

A new brewery is in the works from Russo’s New York Pizzeria

The Washington Corridor is getting a new brewery from the minds behind a beloved pizza spot. According to Community Impact, Russo’s New York Pizzeria is in the “planning stages” of a new brewery and restaurant called Russo’s Brewing Co. at 3415 Katy Freeway in Houston. No details yet on when exactly the new brewery will open.
