Sweets and selfies will collide when Candytopia pops up in Houston this summer. Billed as “a marshmallowy mini-theme park” and a “confectionery wonderland,” this immersive experience from the mind of TLC’s Candy Queen star Jackie Sorkin is touring the country for limited-run engagements.
Candytopia will open in Houston on June 14 at the The MARQ*E entertainment center, located at 7620 Katy Fwy, Suite 360. Expect to tour a dozen rooms with candy-inspired art installations, while sampling sweets like sours, gummies, chocolates, and more. Photo opps at past Candytopia pop-ups have included the chance to pose in a ball pit filled with marshmallows.
Tickets are slated to go on sale on Tuesday, May 28 at 12 p.m. CT at the Candytopia website. For those who want to go, act fast, because tickets must be purchased in advance and organizers anticipate tickets to sell out. Adult admission is $28, kids ages four to 12 get in for $20, and children ages three and under are free.
This isn’t the pop-up’s first visit to Texas this year: Candytopia landed in Dallas earlier this spring.
