Tejas Burger Joint, a new burger destination from the minds behind Tomball’s most notable barbecue restaurant and chocolatier, will open its doors this summer.

Tejas Barbecue & Chocolate announced that it will open Tejas Burger Joint in Tomball via its Instagram account this week, and a representative for the restaurant tells Eater that these burgers are set to land sometime this summer. As Houston barbecue enthusiasts know, Tejas Barbecue & Chocolate has transformed into a Texas dining destination thanks to its succulent smoked meats and equally-appealing chocolates.

Tejas Burger Joint will serve the bacon-topped, cheese-laden Smokehouse Burger that is currently on offer at Tejas Barbecue & Chocolate as a “preview” on Wednesdays only. Other posts to the restaurant’s Instagram account indicate that diners can look forward to burgers made with wagyu beef patties and served on pillowy potato buns.

Look for Tejas Burger Joint to land sometime in between July and September of this year. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
