About two years after opening FM Kitchen & Bar on Shepherd Drive, chef Ryan Hildebrand has plans to bring his famed burgers to a new location.

Permit applications filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate that FM Kitchen & Bar has plans for a second outpost at 907 Westheimer Road, taking over the space formerly occupied by East Hampton Sandwich Company. When reached for comment, a representative for the restaurant told Eater that FM Kitchen & Bar has “expansion plans in the works,” but no deals have been finalized as of yet.

Since its debut, FM Kitchen & Bar has earned rave reviews from locals in the Washington-Shepherd corridor, thanks in large part to the FM Burger, one of Hildebrand’s signature offerings, and comfort food staples like Fritos chili pie, chicken fried steak, and gumbo.

No word yet on when FM Kitchen & Bar will make its Montrose debut, but the restaurant’s sales tax license becomes active at the end of July. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
