A little more than a year and a half after its humble beginnings as an at-home business, Jersey Bagels has inked a deal for its first permanent location.

The shop, a project of Cory and Jaclyn Yates, will open its doors this fall at 9522 Huffmeister Road, Suite 700, taking over the space formerly occupied by a coffee shop. Since debuting earlier this year at local markets like Tomball Farmers Market and Jersey Village Farmers Market, Jersey Bagels has earned a solid crop of fans thanks to its hand-rolled, traditional East Coast style bagels in a variety of flavors.

When the shop opens, diners can look forward to a bounty of breakfast options, including bagels schmeared with cream cheese, bagel sandwiches, and coffee. Jersey Bagels will also serve a limited menu of lunch and brunch sandwiches on bagels. “We plan on keeping it fairly simple to start out as space is somewhat limited in our shop,” Yates tells Eater.

Jersey Bagels is expected to land in September. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
