Red Circle Ice Cream is branching out, with plans to bring its extravagant churros and ice cream in adventurous flavors (crawfish-flavored scoops, anyone?) to new Houston neighborhoods. According to the ice cream purveyor’s social media accounts, shops are headed to Sugar Land and Pearland, and the brand is offering franchising opportunities now. Red Circle Ice Cream opened up in August 2017 in Asiatown, serving trendy desserts like bubble waffle cones and heart-shaped churros.
The Red Circle Ice Cream’s Pearland Facebook page indicates that the address will be 8201 Broadway Street, Suite 131, and the company wrote to a commenter that it would update as soon as there is an opening date.
Update: Red Circle Ice Cream’s Sugar Land shop is still in lease negotiations, so stay tuned for that address. The company says the plan is to open both locations by the end of 2019 or early 2020. The new locations will sell the same churros, Hong Kong style egg waffles, and inventive ice creams in 80 flavors that Red Circle Ice Cream is known for — and the Pearland shop will also whip up Iced Vietnamese Coffee with or without a scoop of ice cream.
