Downtown Houston’s historic Barbara Jordan Post Office in the Theatre District will undergo a dramatic facelift — and developer Lovett Commercial plans to include plenty of dining options in a spectacular setting.
When the more than 550,000-square-foot POST Houston opens, it’s slated to include a five-acre rooftop park and organic farm called Skylawn, with multiple dining and event venues and a top-notch view of the Houston skyline. That farm will supply ingredients to the restaurants operating at POST Houston.
Inside, the mixed-use building will include office space, coworking space, restaurants, and bars, and a food hall inspired by a Tokyo night market, per Houston Business Journal.
The project is designed by acclaimed architecture firm OMA and Partner Jason Long in collaboration with Houston-based Powers Brown Architecture. Check out more POST Houston renderings below and at its website.
