Meet Fresh, a Taiwanese chain known for its taro-obsessed desserts and boba teas, will kick open the doors at Bellaire Food Street early next week.

A representative for the scorching-hot Asiatown development tells Eater that Meet Fresh is set to open on Monday, July 22, bringing a host of traditional Taiwanese desserts to Bellaire Food Street. Founded in 2007, the chain has grown explosively, opening outposts across the United States along with shops in China, Japan, Vietnam, and Canada.

The signature offering at Meet Fresh are traditional Taiwanese taro balls, which are similar in texture to mochi and served hot or cold atop a pile of shaved ice and tons of toppings. Fluffy shave ice desserts are also on offer, topped with fresh fruit and a scoop of ice cream, along with boba tea, herbal grass jelly served hot or cold, tofu puddings, and more sweet options.

Meet Fresh will open the doors on Monday at 11 a.m.
