After opening its first Houston location about a year ago, giant restaurant and music venue the Rustic has announced plans for a second outpost.
The second location of the Rustic is set to make its debut at 1121 Uptown Park Boulevard early next year, taking over a sprawling 27,000 square foot space, per a press release. Co-owned by Texas country artist Pat Green and restaurateurs Kyle Noonan and Josh Sepkowitz, the new outpost follows the growing chain’s first Space City restaurant, which opened near the George R. Brown Convention Center in Downtown Houston in September 2018.
The restaurant plans to boast the city’s biggest selection of tequilas, Prime steaks sourced from Texas, and more dishes influenced by the Lone Star State, including Bandera quail brined in molasses, tacos, sandwiches, and more. Like the other locations, the Rustic in Uptown Park will also host live music seven days a week.
Construction on the Rustic is set to begin on August 1, and the restaurant is expected to hit Uptown Park in February 2020. Stay tuned for an official opening date.
