Crawfish Cafe’s Beloved Viet-Cajun Seafood Finds a Second Home

It’s heading to the Heights, y’all

Crawfish Cafe, a beloved Space City spot for Viet-Cajun fare, is headed to a new home in the Heights sometime next year.

The brand’s second outpost will debut at Shepherd Row, a strip mall at 1002 N. Shepherd Drive that’s currently being redeveloped by Braun Enterprises. Construction has just begun on the project with an estimated completion date of the end of this year. Details on Crawfish Cafe’s expansion are scant at this point, but Eater has learned that the new space will occupy 3,500 square feet and feature an outdoor patio.

Presumably, the eatery’s best-loved dishes will make the trek to the Heights including its namesake crawfish plus other boiled bags of seafood including Gulf blue crabs, little neck clams, black mussels, and shrimp seasoned in its delicious Viet-Cajun spice blend or several other seasoning options. Other menu items include wings, fried seafood, gumbo, crawfish eggrolls, and more.

Stay tuned for more information on when Crawfish Cafe plans to debut in the Heights.
