Restaurant incubator NextSeed Space in Greenway Plaza’s seen pop-ups devoted to the likes of Central Mexican cuisine, waffle sandwiches, and chicken tikka tacos. Now something very summery is popping up.
Pura Vida will bring ceviches and refreshing drinks to The HUB, Greenway Plaza’s food hall, located at 5 Greenway Plaza. The hours for this shop are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fresh seafood and ceviche pop-up is from the minds behind Snow Topi, who usually whip up Taiwanese fusion dishes. For Pura Vida, husband-and-wife team Brandon and Joyce Wassell will serve lemongrass honey mint tea and watermelon limeade (with mint and lemongrass from urban Houston farm Plant It Forward) —along with ceviche studded with mango, shrimp, and more. The menu is influenced by the Wassells’ travels through Costa Rica. Try it at the NextSeed Space in Greenway Plaza before Pura Vide’s run ends in through mid-September.
