Lifting Noodles Ramen, one of Atlanta’s favorite destination for springy noodles, is headed to Houston.
A representative for the restaurant tells Eater that Lifting Noodles is currently seeking a space for its first location, though no address has been locked down just yet. According to Eater Atlanta, the restaurant got its start in a food hall in east Atlanta Village, and has since earned a reputation as one of the city’s best ramen purveyors. Lifting Noodles is a project of the same group behind Poke Burri, an Atlanta-based poke bowl shop that is also en route to Houston.
As far as the restaurant’s brothy bowls concerned, diners can look forward to noodles served in traditional pork-based tonkotsu and veggie broths, along with a kimchi bowl that’s spiked with plenty of the fermented Korean condiment. Garnishes include soy-marinated egg, black mushrooms, corn, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and more.
No timeline has been set for when Lifting Noodles Ramen will make its Houston debut. Stay tuned for more details on where and when it will open.
